Obama has no place in his heart for Arab Children

What is it about Jewish and Arab children that privileges the first and spurns the second in the speeches of President Barack Obama, let alone in the Western media more generally? Are Jewish children smarter, prettier, whiter? Are they deserving of sympathy and solidarity, denied to Arab children, because they are innocent and unsullied by the guilt of their parents, themselves often referred to as "the children of Israel"? Or, is it that Arab children are dangerous, threatening, guilty, even dark and ugly, a situation that can only lead to Arabopaedophobia - the Western fear of Arab children?

The international coalition forces in Afghanistan has admitted the deaths of Women and Children in air strike hours after Hamid Karzai had given America a “final warning” to change its tactics and avoid killing civilians.

Tripoli :  South Africa's president Jacob Zuma has arrived in Tripoli for talks to end Libya's conflict. Zuma's office said the Main objectives of his visit on Monday include negotiating an immediate ceasefire, enabling the delivery of humanitarian aid and adopting and implementing reforms to eliminate the causes of the conflict.

Four killed as insurgents attack Italian Base in Herat, Afghanistan

HERAT, Afghanistan: Twin Taliban attacks killed four people and wounded 24 others, in the Afghan city of Herat at an Italian-led Nato reconstruction team on Monday, officials said.

The blasts came just weeks before the usually peaceful historic city is to become one of the first places in the war-torn country to transition from Nato to Afghan security control nearly 10 years after the 2001 US-led invasion.
